Netanyahu: Israel to conduct audit of relations with UN after adopted resolution

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that after the adoption of the anti-settlement resolution of the UN Security Council, the UN instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to conduct an audit of relations with the organization, including in matters of contributions to its budgets and the presence of its representatives in the country.

Israel refused to comply with the demand in the resolution to end settlement activities and has already announced a package of response measures against the countries that initiated it and the UN itself.

“I instructed the Foreign Ministry within a month to conduct an audit of all our relations with the UN, including funding for UN institutions and the presence of UN representatives in the country,” Netanyahu said.
